Several days ago, I read on social website that the US and several of its allies at NATO just threw several dozens of bombs at Syria, for, they say, “striking Syria’s chemical weapon plans”. The first thought that occurred to me was the wounds and deaths of the innocent unarmed people at Syria: why should they be injured for living their own ordinary lives?
While there may have been a lot of reason s behind why the bombing decision was made and executed, and the chemical weapons at Syria are also equally unpleasing, I still hate the idea of bombs or any kind of weapons, let alone massive-killing ones. The way I have always thought about armed disputes is that they must include the will of at least one of the two parties to hurt and destroy the other who disagrees.
The discussion and cause seeking of wars and conflicts can go way deeper than what I’m saying here in this short post, but for any party or nation, it would simply be UNCIVILIZED for them to invade another land to obtain resources, or to hurt its own people for holding different political views. I believe that this holds true for the US, its allies, and the countries that are being invaded as well: no one or any government has the right to injure or kill another innocent person for guilts that the latter never conducted.
