Kate Hennessy gives EVA London 2018 Keynote
Kate gave an invited Keynote presentation at the meeting of EVA (Electronic Visualization and the Arts) London, 2018. Her talk was titled “Collaborative Practices and Decolonial Media Production for Museums”, and drew on her work with the Museum of Vancouver’s Haida Now exhibition, and with the Sq’éwlets First Nation/ Stó:lo Research and Resource Management Centre’s virtual exhibit Sq’éwlets: A Stó:lo-Coast Salish community in the Fraser River Valley.
Her presentation included a screening of the documentary Haida Now: Corey Bulpitt, which was produced by Jay Tseng, Brandon Matthew Hoare, Bohan Li, and Mengran Song.
