Hello and Welcome to the inaugural offering of IAT 803: Science, Technology, and Culture.
I am thrilled to be teaching this course this semester alongside Dr. Hannah Turner.
Please see our Canvas site for the full syllabus and begin your reading for weeks 1 and 2 of the semester. Required texts are in the bookstore and we will be directing you to digital copies of other articles and book sections.
We will all be using this blog to share ideas and generate discussion each week in the seminar. Instructions will follow regarding setting you up as a user so you can post and comment on the site.
We will be holding our first seminar on January 11th. In this first week of semester, please read George Orwell’s novel 1984 so we discuss in in seminar on the 11th.
